I saw ~NEVAIN's excellent rendition of a magic circle several months back and wanted to do a stage set with it; and he has kindly given me permission to do that. I've played around with different configurations but in the end I wanted something a little more surreal for this set, so I ended up using the design shown here.
This set also features a translucent screen capture display. I believe this is the first time anyone has done this for a stage set. It actually works quite well, especially if you use a background that takes full advantage of this feature.
IMPORTANT: Please note that you will need MME effects FIRE and Object Luminous to be able to obtain the full benefits from this set.

_____________________________________________________________________ APPENDUM This was omitted in the instructions, but note that when setting up the revolving crystal ball, you will need to position it at 40 units along the x-axis, otherwise it will not be at the correct location. Bone15 itself, remains at the origin.

I know not the referance to series, so on that I can not comment... The over-all feel for the scene seems correct ...
The main critic I can say which I feel has no part with the level of CG rendering & such, though more Common sense is the mirror. Unless it's a portal to a parrelle deminssional point (which would explain why the image seems like a repeating window), it should be (persepctively) showing the back-side of Luka.
Other than that... only if you do not mind that is, I would like to attempt using the layout as part of a charcter's housing zone on an MMO I play on. (other than the ruins/letters & the waves of the sun/star from ~NEVAIN, I am mostly sure of being able to make a close version there of)
1/. The model does not reference any series, it is an original work. 2/. The "mirror" is a motion capture device. It repeats whatever is shown from the MMD program's camera POV. 3/. This model has been release to the Deviant Art MMD community, specifically and exclusively, for use in conjunction with the MikuMikuDance program under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 License. This model, its concept or parts thereof, is/are not stock material for reuse in other works. If you do not fully understand what this means, please click on this [link]
In anycase, the magic circle, will require separate permission from it's author ~NEVAIN as it was not released as Creative Commons artwork.
