MMD Gothica Stage Set

I've been playing around with this stage design for awhile but have finally decided to finish it off and share it with the MMD community. It was originally built as an experimental platform which I used to test out different things but it is ideal for use in projects that require a gothic, moody theme. Additionally, unlike most of my other stages, it uses a lot of texture maps and this gives it a visually rich atmospheric feel.

This is not an easy stage to set up from a lighting perspective. One of the design considerations was to allow it to take full advantage of the excellent MME global shaders available and in all honesty I would not recommend this stage for a beginner to MMD. Although it is completely usable in its original state and is easy to set up (since it comprises of a single model file) to get the best out of it, it will require a good understanding of MMD stage lighting, shaders and camera setups.

The screenshots above do show some of the possibilities that this stage offers with careful selection of a suitable skydome and the use of custom light settings and MME effects.
