This project started off as a simple demo model for: fav.me/d6icvah
. Since she kind of looked nice I decided to finish the job and also to use her to further experiment on the use of materials specifications and tone maps to create MMD models that do not need MME shaders to enhance their appearance. The image shows this model without any MME or Photoshop effects applied. This is how she looks straight from within MMD 8.03.
This is a PMX model and has received a lot of functional upgrades as well as re-weighting of her sleeves so that her hands don't keep going through them as with the original default model.
Animasa style models are looking a bit dated when compared with some of the fine quality models available today. Personally, I still have a soft spot for them and they still are a valuable asset in my books. On their own, they are fine models and with a little bit of work they can, in my opinion, still hold their own. Honestly though, you won't in general see me putting a Tda-style model next to an Animasa-style model.Demo video: youtu.be/bx4uavT5ONs
