Description
These three are definitely not members of the Mickey Mouse Club ...
I been wanting to do something with this classic rock song for awhile but it has such an odd beat. It didn't work with anything until I downloaded the "Hawayu" motion and had Neru dancing to it on a whim ... as in I didn't much care for the original song the motion was developed for and just threw any old song in to listen to whilst I examined the motion.
At this point I was distracted by my "significant other" and when I looked back at the screen I noticed that Neru looked amazing doing this (as in amazingly funny). So I replayed it - it's really odd. The same motion and this tune just does not work with other characters and models at all. Only the Animasa and Nakao Nerus. The former was really funny and the latter had a more sexy feel to it, but still funny.
So I was going to record this using Neru, but then a few thoughts occurred to me so after messing around with the original motion data for about an hour I had data for a group of three dancers. Applying a little more lateral thinking and I redid the motion data edits again and now I have these three adorable chibis performing to this and each one of them is doing something slightly different. I think it looks more "lifelike" this way.
