MMD Aquanaut Stage Preview

So I was taking stock of all the models I've been collecting over the course of the year. Came across several models in swimsuits. The thing about model girls in swimsuits, unless you're a serious perv, is that there really isn't that much use for them. Like how often do you see idols on stage singing in a bikini or for that matter walking around in the street?

Well, they are nice models (the swimsuit editions). And so I was talking with ~GM34 about building a stage based on the Titanic. And yeah, I know that the North Atlantic isn't exactly a warm weather environment. But then building the Titanic ... I'll say this, it's awfully big - like seriously awfully big. And then when you start, where do you stop? Plus, honestly, I'm a bit superstitious ...

Any hoots, I was mucking around with another stage design based on basically a North Sea oil drilling rig, but it wasn't going anywhere. Then a thought occurred to me. Actually several, Pirates of the Caribbeans being one of them, and you know what they do in Chinese Restaurants right? Choy Suey; that's a dish that doesn't exist in China, it's just re-fried leftovers. Usually it tastes pretty good too, so anyways it seems that the concept obviously works for stage designs too. So there ...

The set will offer a choice of configurations as well as other goodies ... including a boat (not the Titanic, a really small one but it's pretty neat). There's a crow's nest, a choice of dance floors and projection screens. Might be some other stuff when it's all done. Oh, and for the pervs, there's even a matching stripper pole ...

Scheduled for release at the end of next week (Oct 17/18, 2013).
